Curriculum

Gabriele STUDER, nato ad Alba il 15 gennaio 1982, ha studiato organo e composizione organistica al Civico Istituto Musicale “Lodovico ROCCA” di Alba. 

È in seguito diventato allievo dell’Accademia Superiore di Musica “Schola Cantorum” di Parigi dove ha conseguito il “Diplôme de Concert” avec la mention “Très bien à l’unanimité et félicitations du jury” sotto la guida del M° Jean-Paul IMBERT, con il quale ha anche ottenuto a pieni voti il “Diplôme d'Études Musicales” e il primo premio all’unanimità in Basso continuo presso il “Conservatoire à rayonnement régional” di Versailles.

Ha inoltre studiato improvvisazione organistica al “Conservatoire National de Région de Saint-Maur” nei pressi di Parigi nella classe del M° Pierre PINCEMAILLE.

Ha conseguito anche la laurea magistrale specialistica di II livello in organo e composizione organistica presso il Conservatorio “Giorgio Federico GHEDINI” di Cuneo, con la valutazione di 110 e lode, nella classe del M° Bartolomeo GALLIZIO.

Ha frequentato numerosi masterclasses di perfezionamento con il M° Jean-Paul IMBERT al celebre organo della Chiesa di Notre-Dame des Neiges all’Alpe d’Huez (Francia), con il M° Massimo NOSETTI sia presso l’Accademia di San Rocco ad Alessandria che al monumentale organo della Basilica Cattedrale di Messina, con il M° Olivier LATRY al grande organo della Chiesa del Sacro Cuore di Gesù a Cuneo e con il M° David BRIGGS all’organo della Chiesa Episcopale di San Paolo dentro le Mura a Roma.

Ha intrapreso una brillante attività concertistica come solista ed in varie formazioni, che lo ha portato ad esibirsi in Italia, Francia, Belgio, Svizzera e Regno Unito (Torino, Cuneo, Milano, Monza, Varese, Padova, Cortina d’Ampezzo, Parma, Messina, Cagliari, Paris, Lille, Cannes, Alpe d’Huez, Arlon, Ligornetto, Lausanne, Canterbury...).

Ha collaborato con l’Orchestra “Giovanni Francesco PRESSENDA” di Alba, e con l’Orchestra da Camera di Guarene d’Alba dirette dal M° Paolo PAGLIA.

Molto interessato alla trascrizione, ha effettuato diversi arrangiamenti per organo di opere orchestrali, già eseguiti in Italia e all’estero.

La sua trascrizione del celebre Schizzo Sinfonico “Nelle Steppe dell’Asia Centrale” di Aleksandr BORODIN è stata pubblicata dalle Edizioni ARMELIN MUSICA di Padova, ed incisa sia dal M° Jean-Paul IMBERT per la casa discografica “BNL” al grande organo della Chiesa di Notre-Dame de bon Voyage a Cannes (Francia), che dal M° Frédéric BLANC per la casa discografica “QUANTUM” all’organo della Chiesa di Notre-Dame d’Auteuil à Parigi.

Ha inciso un CD interamente dedicato alle opere del compositore italiano Enrico PASINI.

Ricopre inoltre l’incarico di organista titolare presso la Chiesa di Cristo Re di Alba.

Gabriele STUDER, born 15th January 1982, in Alba (Italy), studied organ and organ composition at the Civic Musical Institute “Lodovico Rocca” in Alba.

Then he became a student at the Academy “Schola Cantorum” in Paris, where he obtained the “Diplôme de Concert” avec la mention “Très bien à l’unanimité et félicitations du jury” with Jean-Paul IMBERT, and also the “Diplôme d'Études Musicales” and first prize in Basso continuo “à l’unanimité du jury” at the “Conservatoire à rayonnement régional” in Versailles.

He studied organ improvisation at the “Conservatoire National de Région de Saint-Maur” in Paris in the class of Pierre PINCEMAILLE. 

He obtains a master degree cum laude in organ and composition at Conservatory “Giorgio Federico GHEDINI” in Cuneo with Bartolomeo GALLIZIO.

He has attended a large number of specialization masterclasses with Jean-Paul IMBERT held at the renowned organ of the church of Notre-Dame des Neiges (Alpe d’Huez / France); with Massimo NOSETTI at the San Rocco Academy in Alessandria (Italy) and at the monumental organ of the Basilica Cathedral of Messina (Sicily / Italy), with Olivier LATRY at the great organ of the Sacro Cuore di Gesù Church in Cuneo (Italy) and with David BRIGGS at the organ of the Episcopal Church of St. Paul's Within the Walls in Roma (Italy).

He started a brilliant concert activity as a soloist and also with different musicians, which allowed him to perform in different countries, including Italy, France and UK (Torino, Cuneo, Milano, Monza, Varese, Padova, Cortina d’Ampezzo, Parma, Messina, Cagliari, Paris, Lille, Cannes, Alpe d’Huez, Arlon, Ligornetto, Lausanne, Canterbury...).

He has collaborated with the “G.F. Pressenda” Orchestra with the Chamber Orchestra of Guarene directed by Paolo Paglia.

He is very interested in transcription, having completed a large number of arrangements for organ of orchestral operas, which have already been performed both in Italy and abroad.

His transcription of the famous symphonic poem “In the Steppes of Central Asia” by Alexander Borodin has been published by The Edizioni Armelin Musica of Padua and recorded by Jean-Paul IMBERT for “BNL” at the organ in Notre-Dame de bon Voyage in Cannes and by Frédéric BLANC for “QUANTUM” at the organ in Notre-Dame d’Auteuil in Paris.

He records a CD with the music of the Italien composer Enrico PASINI.

He is currently the official organist at the Cristo Re Church in Alba.

Il fréquente de nombreux masterclasses de perfectionnement avec Jean-Paul IMBERT au célèbre orgue de l’église de Notre-Dame des Neiges à l’Alpe d’Huez (France), avec Massimo NOSETTI à l’Academie de San Rocco à Alessandria (Italie) et à l’orgue monumental de la basilique de Messina (Italie), avec Olivier LATRY aux grandes orgues de l’église Sacro Cuore di Gesù à Cuneo (Italie), et avec David BRIGGS à l’orgue de l’église Episcopale de Saint-Paul Dans les Murs à Roma (Italie).

Il poursuit désormais une brillante carrière de concertiste, en soliste ou accompagné des musiciens. 

Il a donné des concerts en Italie, France, Belgique, Suisse et Royaume-Uni (Torino, Cuneo, Milano, Monza, Varese, Padova, Cortina D’Ampezzo, Parma, Messina, Cagliari, Paris, Lille, Cannes, Alpe d’Huez, Arlon, Ligornetto, Lausanne, Canterbury...)

Il a collaboré avec l’Orchestre “G. F. PRESSENDA” d’Alba et avec l’Orchestra da Camera de Guarene d’Alba, dirigée par Paolo PAGLIA.

Passionné par la transcription, il a effectué de nombreux arrangements pour orgue d’œuvres orchestrales qu’il a interprétés en Italie et à l’étranger.

Sa transcription du célèbre Esquisse symphonique “Dans les steppes de l’Asie Centrale” d’Aleksandr BORODIN a été publiée par les éditions ARMELIN MUSICA de Padoue et enregistrée soit par Jean-Paul IMBERT pour la maison de disques “BNL” aux grandes orgues de l’église Notre-Dame de bon Voyage à que par Frédéric BLANC pour la maison de disques “QUANTUM” aux grandes orgues de l’église Notre-Dame d’Auteuil à Paris.

Il a enregistré un CD entièrement dédié aux œuvres du compositeur italien Enrico PASINI.

Actuellement il est titulaire de l’orgue de l’église Cristo Re d’Alba (Italie).

Gabriele Studer wurde am 15.Januar 1982 im italienischen Alba geboren und hat am Civico Istituto Musicale “Lodovico Rocca” in Alba Orgel und Orgelkomposition studiert.

Danach wurde er Schüler an der Hochschule für Musik “Schola Cantorum” in Paris. Dort hat er das “Diplôme de Concert” mit der Erwähnung “Très bien à l’unanimité et félicitations du jury“ unter der Leitung von Jean-Paul IMBERT erworben. Gleichzeitig hat er auch das “Diplôme d’Études Musicales“ mit Bravour und den ersten Preis einstimmig in Basso continuo am “Conservatoire à rayonnement régional“ in Versailles erhalten.

Außerdem hat Gabriele in der Nähe von Paris in der Klasse von Pierre PINCEMAILLE Orgelimprovisation am “Conservatoire National de Région de Saint-Maur” studiert.

Er hat auch, in der Klasse des Bartolomeo GALLIZIO einen Magna-cum-laude Master-Abschluss (Laurea Magistrale), zweites Level in Orgel und Orgelkomposition an der Musikhochschule “Giorgio Federico GHEDINI“ in Cuneo (Italien) erzielt. 

Zur Fortbildung hat er zahlreiche Masterclasses belegt: - bei Jean-Paul IMBERT an der berühmten Orgel der Kirche von Notre Dame des Neiges in Alpe d’Huez (Frankreich) - bei Massimo NOSETTI - sowohl an der Accademia di San Rocco in Alessandria, Italien, als auch an der monumentalen Orgel der Basilica Cattedrale in Messina (Sizilien) - bei Olivier LATRY an der großen Orgel der Chiesa del Sacro Cuore di Gesù in Cuneo (Italien) und bei David BRIGGS an der Orgel der Chiesa Episcopale di San Paolo dentro le Mura in Rom.

Seine brillante Konzerttätigkeit als Solist und in zahlreichen Formationen führte ihn durch Italien und darüber hinaus nach Frankreich, Belgien, in die Schweiz und nach Großbritannien (Turin, Cuneo, Mailand, Varese, Monza, Padua, Cortina d’Ampezzo, Parma, Messina, Cagliari, Paris, Lille, Cannes, Alpe d’Huez, Arlon Ligornetto, Lausanne, Canterbury…).

Gabriele Studer hat mit dem Orchester “Giovanni Francesco PRESSENDA” aus Alba gearbeitet und ist derzeit mit dem Kammerorchester aus Guarene d‘Alba unter der Leitung von Paolo PAGLIA tätig.

Sein großes Interesse gilt der Transkription. Er hat eine große Anzahl von Arrangements orchestraler Werke für die Orgel umgesetzt, die bereits in Italien und in anderen Ländern aufgeführt wurden.

Seine Transkription der berühmten Sinfonischen Dichtung “Eine Steppenskizze aus Mittelasien” von Aleksandr BORODIN wurde vom Verlag Edizioni ARMELIN MUSICA, aus Padua, veröffentlicht und wurde von Jean-Paul IMBERT an der großen Orgel der Église de Notre -Dame de bon Voyage in Cannes (Frankreich) für das Label “BNL“ und von Frédéric BLANC an der Orgel der Église de Notre Dame D’Auteuil in Paris für das Label “QUANTUM“ aufgenommen.

Gabriele Studer hat eine CD mit den Werken des Italienischen Komponisten Enrico PASINI aufgenommen.

Er ist Titularorganist der Chiesa di Cristo Re in Alba.
